ABOUT THE ARTIST

Cindy is one of our most influential millennial photographer, creative director and self-portrait artist, renowned for her fearless & iconic portraiture. She focuses on creating alive, complete and timeless imagery over a wide range of project mediums.

In 2010, she founded Cindy Melissa Boisvert Photography ‘Iconic Humans’, a month after receiving her first camera as a gift from her grandmother at her quinceañera. Iconic Humans is the bucket-list in Canada’s Capital region for creating top quality and easily customizable photoshoot experience worth to remember. She captures emotional portraiture featuring timeless black & whites, pure connection, and class-act feminine impact. She’s inspired by cinematic views, vibrant colors and the power of storytelling.

Being equally comfortable in front and behind of the lens has led to several collaborations, scholarships, awards, TV and digital appearances including Vogue Italia, Vidéotron, COCO Magazine, Get Inspired Magazine and more. Her passion and talent for conceptual creativity extend to working with the world’s leading creative agencies, creating advertising campaigns for brands in the entertainment, luxury, lifestyle, beauty, sport, and fashion industries.

Cindy calls for greater action on mental health. She actively participates in the social movement Love Over Fear after winning over her identity and depression battles, back in 2015-2016. Love Over Fear encourages us to leverage our self-love, creativity, and wellness to celebrate our iconic identity every day!

Her studio is currently located in Gatineau, QC (aka. Canada’s National Capital Region, nearby to Ottawa, ON).
